ONE SELF PORTRAIT EVERY DAY in 2020 : 340

I have been in agony all day. It’s my wisdom tooth. I was in pain all night last night and all day today. I have been taking pain killers throughout but with not much effect. I have these pains every couple of years and last a couple of days and although I have been told I should take them out I never did because of my fear of dentists. Up to now it somehow worked, a couple of days of tooth ache and then it’s OK for a couple more years. Unfortunately this time I don’t have a good feeling; my jaw is swollen and feels like there is an infection in there and the pain is almost unbearable and the main difference with previous occasions is that the pain keeps me awake at night. I really hope to have a good night and to wake up tomorrow morning with no tooth ache but I doubt it. I fear this time is when I’ll have to have them out.Tomorrow is Sunday so will give it until Monday.
