Sometimes I get frustrated by being at home with it’s restrictive space. There’s a great portrait of Duke Ellington by Irving Penn where he sits in an odd triangular space. I’ve been thinking about this photo when taking my self portrait today but have used a wide angle lens to exagerate this sense of confinement.
