ONE SELF PORTRAIT EVERY DAY in 2020 : 346

Sluice_ 2015 took place in this amazing building, the Bargehouse, just behind the OXO tower. I remember on the last night we had some coffees in the café opposite. You see where that guy is standing? Not me, the guy on the left. That’s where I sat on the last night. we had coffee and then walked to Blackfriars station. I was with Peter Hopkins who was staying with us. When we got to station I offer to help Peter with his suitcase as I was not carrying anything. Hang on. Where’s my bag containing my laptop, a hard disk, my camera and a couple of lenses? I left it by the table, I left Peter at the station and ran back to the Bargehouse. I’m not a sporty type but I ran faster than I ever did, I was sure it wasn’t going to be there anymore and kept on telling myself how stupid I was. I got there and my bag was there exactly where I left it.
