ONE SELF PORTRAIT EVERY DAY in 2020 : 316

I can’t remember the last time I have been so excited about starting a new book. I don’t know why but I have never read Jorge Luis Borges until now. Last year (before Covid) we used to rent our room on airbnb and two of our guests were Marcela and Dario, photographers from Argentina on their honeymoon. We have become friends and stayed in touch. In one of my I AM STILL ALIVE posts, Marcela quoted Borges in a comment. I bid on this book on eBay and got it today so I have had a few days anticipating it and researching his work online.
